With the exchange rate we have now and cheaper price to get the same car from south of the border. I explored a few websites and negotiated with a few American dealers ... and found that I am going to save $6350 to get a car there. The only disadvantage is that I have to carpool with a friend to drive there and pick up my car.

Anyone who has bought a car and drove it back to Canada? Can you share some experience? Where to cross the border? Any good dealers in the US?

It must be a long trip... I always want to know that beside the pricing advantage, what other things motivate people shopping in US? Don't forget, you still have to pay for traveling...

I found out that there are companies buying your cars in US and transport them back in GTA for you to pick up. They only charge about 1000 dollars for the service.
